Peppermint Chip Almond Flour Brownies

As I was wandering through the grocery store recently, trying to come up with some yummy recipes for this holiday season, I happened upon peppermint cooking gobs! I’d been contemplate an almond flour brownie or cake and I knew I has manufacture these peppermint chip brownies. The pairing of chocolate and peppermint is a kind of my all-time favorites. If you’re unable to find peppermint baking chunks, you can use peppermint bark or white chocolate microchips instead. If you use peppermint bark, I’d recommend chopping it up into bite-sized parts before sprinkling it on top of the unbaked brownies. The final result should be very similar if you use either of these methods.

Why Use Almond Flour?

In my baking ordeal, almond flour is more moist than regular wheat flour, while still being light in flavor. It reacts a lot like regular flour in baked goods, but is a bit sweeter and is a great alternative for those who have gluten intolerances.

Peppermint Chip Almond Flour Brownies

Ingredients

3/4 cup chocolate pulverization, unsweetened 1 goblet white-hot sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 5 tablespoon butter, defrosted 1/4 teaspoon peppermint obtain 3 enormous eggs 1 1/2 cups almond flour 1 teaspoon baking pulverization 1/2 beaker grey chocolate peppermint gobs or chips Powdered sugar, for sprinkle( optional) Mini sugar canes, peppermint affixes, or other components for garnish

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degF. Lightly butter or grease an 8-inch-by-8-inch square or 9-inch round baking pan.

In a medium bowl, combining chocolate gunpowder, sugar, salt, softened butter, peppermint obtain and eggs.

Add baking powder and almond flour. The batter should be very thick! Pour batter into prepared pan. Spread to the edges with a spatula, ensuring it’s an even layer.

Top with a small handful or two of peppermint globs, about 1/2 a cup, and bake for 32 to 35 hours at 350 degF until the top is set, and a toothpick “re coming” clean when inserted.

Remove from oven and allow them to cool before dusting the brownies with powdered carbohydrate( if desired) and downing!
