Attuned Programmes Ireland has announced plans to create 250 new frontline roles across Dublin, Kildare and Carlow in response to growing demand for community-based rehabilitation and intellectual disability services.

The expansion will add to the 110 permanent roles already secured within the organisation, bringing total employment to approximately 400 by 2027.

The company has set out longer-term ambitions to increase its workforce to 1,000 by the end of the decade.

The new positions will include Social Care Workers, Social Care Support Workers and service leadership roles.

According to the organisation, the recruitment drive will increase capacity across community rehabilitation housing, intellectual disability (ID) housing and outreach supports.

Attuned Programmes Ireland said the additional staffing will enable more individuals to access tailored, community-based care, with a focus on supporting independence and improving quality of life.

The expansion is also intended to strengthen continuity of care for families and enhance local support networks.

The investment represents a significant scaling of frontline service provision in the regions, with a focus on enabling people to live with dignity and inclusion in their own communities.
