IT services company Ergo has announced the appointment of Conal O’Donnell as chief executive.

O’Donnell previously served as group chief operations officer for more than six years, supporting strategic acquisition and underpinning the company’s growth across multiple markets.

His promotion comes at a time when the company is focusing on scaling operations and driving customer value.

He succeeds Paul McCann, who will step down at the end of the month after leading the recent acquisition of Presidio.

“I am delighted to take on the role of Chief Executive Officer at such an important time for Ergo,” said O’Donnell.

“Having been part of the business for over six years, I have seen first-hand the depth of our expertise, the strength of our culture and the exceptional talent across our teams.

“I would also like to sincerely thank Paul McCann for his leadership and the significant contribution he has made to Ergo’s growth and success, particularly in leading the company through its acquisition by Presidio.
