On the streets of Paris last month, show-goers were starting to debut the best of new season, and just about everyone in the fashion industry was running to Chanel to nab pieces of Matthieu Blazy’s first collection (especially the shoes!) Which leaves us with just one question: How can we update our wardrobes to match this energy?
This spring, designers not only introduced new iterations of classics, but gave us new ideas for styling, like the T-shirt sandwiches we saw at Lii and Versace. They introduced new wardrobe builders, such as low-rise skirts at Chanel, and continued to lean into rising trends, like the balloon pants at Altuzarra and Ashlyn. There were also statements made of juxtapositions, whether you lean sporty like Prada or ultra lady-like (but with a sense of ease) like at The Row.
