Why unveil just one exciting life development when you can do two?
That had to have been Latto’s philosophy when she was planning the rollout for her upcoming fourth studio album, Big Mama, which she announced at midnight last night, along with a surprise pregnancy reveal.
“BIG MAMA (the album) 5/29,” Latto wrote in her caption, revealing that the first single, titled “Business & Personal (Intro),” was also out with a coinciding video. “Thank you God 🥹,” she added.
On the Big Mama cover, Latto is seeing wearing a black sheer top with a cape detail and a cropped front, revealing her growing baby bump. She wears the top with a matching black skirt and pearl strands draped across her waist, and she’s seen holding a baby cheetah in her arms.
In addition to the news of her first pregnancy, Latto also seemingly confirmed that 21 Savage—who she has been dating since 2025—is the father. In the music video for “Business & Personal (Intro),” a hand is seen cradling her baby bump, which appears to belong to the artist born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, given that it is covered with his tattoos.
The lead track sees the Ohio native singing about her pregnancy (“Car seat, got a kid on the way”) as well as her relationship (“Got my man sending wires like he doing cable /
Know how to talk to his baby, think he Ms. Rachel”), which will likely be two strong themes across the entire album.
Big Mama is out on May 29. As for Latto’s little one? Well, we’ll just have to wait for that arrival date.
