While promoting her new wedding-themed film The Drama, Zendaya has been immersed in yet another method dressing streak, thanks to the help of her stylist and image architect, Law Roach. In a not-so-subtle move, the Emmy winner has been wearing white on white on white these past few weeks, looking like a real-life bride (which, reportedly, she might be). However, today that wasn’t the case.
This afternoon, at the Rome premiere of The Drama, Zendaya arrived to the red carpet in a black Armani Privé dress that’s defined by it plunging scoop neckline decorated with large gemstones.
As it turns out, it actually belongs to Cate Blanchett, who previously wore the dress on the red carpet in 2022, at the Actor Awards, and in 2025, to the Venice International Film Festival. Call it something borrowed.

In fact, during the press run for The Drama, Zendaya has worn something old (vintage Caché), something new (Pre-Fall 2026 Ermanno Scervino), and now something borrowed, which could be a secret pattern for her recent string of looks.
