ACTIVITY

A significant component of our strategy is inorganic growth.

We have completed four transactions in our current financial year, with two more expected before year-end, each aligned to our long-term ambition to become the leading mid-tier professional services firm across the island of Ireland.

A crucial part of our growth involves strengthening sector-led expertise, including healthcare, technology, professional services, hospitality, and arts and entertainment.

These sectors require a nuanced understanding beyond traditional compliance.

We are expanding our capabilities in IT managed services and cybersecurity through our FutureRange business, areas that have rapidly moved to the centre of board-level agendas.

The findings from the 2026 HLB Global Survey of Business Leaders underline this reality: 74 per cent of business leaders are concerned or very concerned about cybersecurity, and digital transformation and emerging technologies continue to dominate investment priorities.

Our expanded technology and cybersecurity capability enable us to support clients on both fronts, helping them adopt new technologies confidently while safeguarding their most critical assets.

Geographic expansion is another key part of our long-term strategy.

We have recently established a presence in Belfast and Cork through acquisition supporting our ambition to become the leading all-island, mid-tier professional services firm, with a strong presence in key economic corridors and the depth needed to support entrepreneurial-led businesses and private clients.

TECHNOLOGY

AI is reshaping the professional services model, automating routine processes, accelerating analysis and enhancing decision-making at scale.

However, one constant endures: clients value human insight and trusted relationships.

They want outcomes faster, they want deeper sector understanding and they want value for money, but they also want guidance from advisers they trust.

We are in a unique position to support clients through this transition because we are implementing these technologies within our own operations.

This gives us real-world insight into how AI can be adopted effectively.
