Sadly for us, tomorrow marks the end of the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival, which also mean it’s the end of one of the most glamorous red-carpet events of the year. However, even with the clock ticking down on Cannes, Dua Lipa is here to prove that the high-fashion parade doesn’t have to end there.

During her time in France, the “Houdini” singer showed off the strong versatility of her wardrobe, making a memorable entrance in a “grape”-and-“tomato”-hued ensemble that consisted of a few different pieces from Ferragamo. She then followed it up with looks like an archival Jean Paul Gaultier dress, frilly separates from Chloé, a golden Roberto Cavalli bikini, and so much more.

However, as Lipa jetted back to her home base in London, she kept her playful streak up with yet another archival look.

On Thursday, the hitmaker attended a pop-up in the Selfridges department store to celebrate the release of her new skincare line with Augustinus Bader, called Dua by AB. For the occasion, she made a statement in a butterfly-printed lace qipao dress from the Kim Shui Spring/Summer 2020 collection.

The flowy dress—which featured a Mandarin collar, a plunging chest cutout, and vibrant prints of butterflies in blue and green—was paired with even more statement pieces.

In her arms, Lipa carried a white leopard-print bag adorned with feathers, pulled from the Jacquemus Fall/Winter 2026 “Le Palmier” collection. Then, she went for another vintage touch with her lace-up olive-green buckle boots in a croc-skin leather, which stemmed from the Dior Fall 2000 line.

Finally, she accessorized with jewelry from Bulgari, including a pair of Serpenti drop earrings and coiling rose-gold bracelets and rings.

Butterflies, jungle cats, and reptile motifs? It appears that with this look, Lipa was trying to honor as many classes of the animal kingdom as possible.
