There’s a reason Victoria Beckham’s hair always looks so healthy—and it’s far more accessible and easier to work into your routine than you might assume from the one and only Posh Spice.
In a recent interview with Sunday Times Style, the designer gave away some of her beauty secrets, showing the go-to products that have worked their way into her daily routine. Among them was a plush microfiber towel for her hair, a piece that retails anywhere from $25.
“It was my hairdresser friend, Ken, who encouraged me to buy a microfiber hair towel,” she explained, referring to celebrity hair stylist Ken Pavés, who has worked with the likes of Eva Longoria and Jessica Simpson, in addition to both of the Beckhams. “It’s just gentler on your hair. I’ve become quite obsessed with it now actually.”
“I only use these towels now on my hair, and I’ve become quite known for having a towel on my head with my videos,” she joked, referring to the GRWM content she’s filmed for her Victoria Beckham Beauty line, highlighting new makeup products. “Originally, the reason that I had a towel on my head is because I’ve never sort of done my hair, had a blow dryer or anything like that, so I was like, ‘okay well I’ll just throw a towel on my head.’ Most of the time, I have actually just gotten out of the shower and thrown a bathrobe on as well. But these towels are so much better for your hair.”
