Everyone wants a Cartier Mini Tank, thanks to the likes of Paul Mescal and Harry Styles, who have often been spotted with the dress watch so small it’s more like a small jewelery piece. However, amid its popularity, the equally statement-making Cartier Mini Tank Américaine has been somewhat overlooked.

With its slightly slimmer profile and case, it’s less bulky, and also comes with options for both a leather strap and a bracelet. But, if you don’t have the money to drop on a Cartier watch, Citizen has just released two pieces that may fill that void for you.

Citizen’s two new watches under the “Axiom” name are explicitly jewelery-inspired, and have the same thin, rectangular silhouette of the Cartier Tank Américaine, and come in the same size as the mini model, with a 14mm wide and 28.5mm long case.

With a small diamond accent just beneath 12 o’clock, it still features its own unique spin that makes it stand out in its own right, as well as through its resemblance to the prized Cartier piece.

Best of all, the watch is powered by Citizen’s signature Eco-Drive technology, which means that it can be charged by any light source, whether it’s natural or artificial. Having to replace the battery will never be something you need to worry about with these watches.

The two watches come at slightly different prices: the silver-toned piece is priced at $395, while the gold-toned watch is $450.
