Taylor Swift is dropping the tea like never before. The record-breaking superstar—known for her intricately-hidden Easter eggs and sly, poetic reveals—sat down for a candid tell-all interview on boyfriend Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, where she talked about her upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.

“We’re about to do a fu***ng podcast!” Swift says in a teaser clip for the interview shared on New Heights’s Instagram on Monday.

In the episode, released on Wednesday, August 13 (that’s right, 13) at 7 p.m. ET, Swift looks back at her busy last couple of years (you know, with her world-spanning Eras Tour), and details all there is to know about her new music. While she’s at it, she also makes some raw, romantic revelations about her relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

Ahead, every big highlight from the chat.

Taylor spilled the details about her upcoming album.

The singer revealed that she wrote The Life of a Showgirl’s 12 tracks during her Eras Tour. Yup. She was in Europe, performing for hours every night, and she said that while she was physically exhausted, the drive of making this album fueled her.

Swift explained that the color of this new album and new era is orange because orange is energetic and bright, and that is how her life has felt over the past couple of years—during her Eras Tour and her relationship with Kelce.

“This is the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time,” she said.

“It’s a lot more upbeat,” Kelce noted. “Yeah. Life is more upbeat,” she said, smiling at him.

The songs are about what went on in Swift’s life offstage, as she performed for the world onstage. It will be released on October 3. “It’s easy to remember. It’s 10/3. Still annoying. Always gonna try to force a 13 into the situation,” Swift joked.

She and Travis could not stop gushing about one another.

The football pro spoke about how he fell in love with Swift. “I’ve never experienced something so mesmerizing on stage and so real and so beautiful in person,” he said to her, adding, “I felt like I’ve know you forever,” and telling brother Jason Kelce, “She makes me so much better.”

He also called Swift “the greatest songwriter of all time” and the “smartest woman in the world,” and said he’s “the luckiest man in the world” to get to experience life with her. (They also definitely hinted that they are living together, and have been for some time.)

When confronted with their differences, the couple pointed out how similar they really are. “On paper, we have similar jobs. Our job is to entertain people for three-plus hours in football stadiums,” Swift said, causing Kelce to break out in nods and laughter.

(Look back at their flirtiest moments from the episode here.)

When asked by Kelce’s brother, Jason, how they handle media attention surrounding their relationship, Swift admitted, “We don’t, really,” noting that they simply ignore it, or laugh it off.

She said, turning to Kelce, “You genuinely find a lot of online discourse to be truly hilarious, and that has changed things for me.” Swift further explained, “It doesn’t even affect his day. And that has completely bled into the way that I metabolize these things.”

Taylor talked about her post-tour hobbies.

“I was on tour for so long, and now I’m not on tour, and it’s kind of great because I’m getting my hobbies back,” she said, explaining that she has become obsessed with sewing baby clothes and blankets (mostly for the Kelce family kids), and with baking—particularly sourdough bread. She joked that her hobbies are all ones “you could have had in the 1700s.”

“It’s been so fun to see what Taylor actually gets into around the house,” Kelce said with a laugh, again suggesting that they live together.

“The sourdough’s taken over my life in a huge way. I’m really talking about bread 60 percent of the time,” Swift admitted. “There are sourdough blogs. There’s a whole community of us.”

Kelce laughed. “The amount of people who hope you’re on their blog,” he said.

“Oh, I’m on your blog,’ Swift said, looking seriously at the camera. “Girl, I’m on your blog.”

They also had a whole silly, flirty back-and-forth about adopting otters, which only made it more apparent why these two needed an off-season, and why they are perfect for each other.

Taylor talked about getting back her master recordings.

Earlier this summer, Swift bought all the rights to all the music she has ever made, and it was a major deal. While speaking about it on the podcast, she got teary, and Kelce comforted her with a warm smile and some reassuring hugs.

“One of my favorite things this summer was Taylor reclaiming her masters,” he said, bringing a big smile to her face.

Swift admitted: “I thought about not owning my music every day; it was like an intrusive thought.” After she wrapped her Eras Tour, she explained, she and her team decided to approach the owners of her music from an emotional perspective, rather than a business perspective, and so she sent her mom and her brother to plead with them.

“I want it because this is my hand-written diary entries throughout my whole life… my photography, my artwork. Everything I’ve ever done is in this catalog,” she said.

Now, she owns all her music, and it still feels surreal. “I can’t believe this happened. How lucky am I? How grateful am I?” she said.

Recalling the moment she told Kelce the good news at home, Swift said she absolutely fell to the floor and broke down in tears. “I started crying too. You know I’m a crier,” the athlete recalled.

Travis not knowing words was a running joke.

As Swift said words like esoteric and effervescence, Travis closed his eyes and said, “She’s so hot when she says big words.” He also took the time to define esoteric, proving that she has taught him well. At one point, he also vaguely referenced Hamlet, which she also taught him about.

Another time, when he really didn’t follow Swift’s comment, he admitted, “I have no idea what those words mean.”

“You know what those words mean,” Swift said, caressing his face. “You’re so handsome.”

They reminisced about how they started dating.

“This podcast got me a boyfriend… ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago,” Swift joked, nodding to the moment Kelce went on New Heights podcast to say that he had attended Swift’s Eras Tour show and made her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, but she still refused to see him. (Swift clarified that he never made any real effort to speak to her team and see her.)

“He threw a man tantrum,” the singer joked. “It was such a wild, romantic gesture to just be like, ‘I wanna date you!’ This dude didn’t get a meet-and-greet and he made it everyone’s problem.”

“He didn’t even reach out to our management,” Swift continued, noting that the football star simply thought he could get to where the record-breaking singer was in the Kansas City stadium because he “knows the elevator lady.”

But after Kelce shot his shot, Swift explained, “everyone who likes [him], started reaching out to everyone who knows me,” and so the two quickly connected.

She recalled: “I was like, if this guy isn’t crazy—which is a big if—this is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.”

“I was listening,” Kelce said with a smile.
