Why Ireland’s First Zara Home at Dundrum Town Centre Could Revolutionize Your Shopping Game Forever
Who would’ve thought that Ireland’s retail scene was about to get a serious upgrade with the arrival of Zara Home? I mean, we’re talking about the Spanish giant’s first-ever store on Irish soil, and it’s landing smack dab in the heart of Dundrum Town Centre later this year. Talk about making a statement! This 15,854 sq ft flagship isn’t just any store—it’s set to be the crown jewel of Dundrum’s Pembroke District, showcasing everything from bedroom coziness to dining elegance and bathroom essentials. And here’s a kicker: this launch isn’t happening in isolation. Zara’s been busy, dramatically expanding and revamping its main Dundrum store by a whopping 43%, so it’s clear they see serious potential in this market. Between Hammerson’s strategic partnerships—including M&S’s multi-million euro facelift—and Zara’s bold moves, Dundrum is staking its claim as Ireland’s premier spot for global retail. So, is this just retail expansion, or a clever play for dominance in a fiercely competitive landscape? I’m betting on the latter—and watching closely. LEARN MORE.
Ireland’s first Zara Home store is set to open at Dundrum Town Centre later this year after the Spanish homeware brand agreed a deal with shopping centre owner Hammerson.
The new 15,854 sq ft store will occupy a prime location at Dundrum and will serve as the anchor brand in its Pembroke District.
Zara Home will stock bedroom, living, dining and bathroom homewares, and the new opening comes after Zara expanded and refurbished its existing store in Dundrum Town’s main centre.
Zara Dundrum has increased its footprint by 43% from 26,300 sq ft to 37,700 sq ft and will reopen in late autumn.
Earlier this year, Hammerson also announced that M&S has extended its lease and is undertaking a multi-million-euro refurbishment due in winter 2026.
“We are delighted that Zara Home has chosen Dundrum Town for its market debut in Ireland,” said Claire Macken, country director at Hammerson.

“Zara Home will be a fantastic addition and will complement our premium brand mix and enhance overall customer experience.
“This announcement, alongside Zara’s significant upsizing and refurbishment, is a substantial vote of confidence in Dundrum as Ireland’s leading destination for global retailers and in the strength of the Irish retail market.”
