Trump’s “Highly Productive” Hormuz Talks: Middle Eastern Leaders’ Jaw-Dropping Response Revealed!
Ever notice how sometimes the universe seems to drop the weirdest coincidences right into our laps? Like, it’s Tuesday, it’s TACO day, and suddenly you’re hit with news that feels like it was plucked straight from the internet’s chaotic playbook. Our president announces a “replacement” for the 20 percent United States Reimbursement Fee—swapping it for some vague “Trade and Investment Deals” with Gulf States—while still insisting on reinstating a blockade on Iran. I mean, is this serious diplomacy or just another episode in the ongoing reality show? You can’t help but wonder if someone’s having a bit of fun behind the scenes, or if we’re just spiraling deeper into the bizarre. Buckle up, because this fiasco is shaping up to be one of those situations where you’ll want popcorn – and maybe a taco – on standby. LEARN MORE
I’m going to assume that our president is not familiar with all Internet traditions because, if he is, he’s just screwing with us now. It is Tuesday. It is TACO. This cannot be an accident. From NPR:
“Based on highly productive conversations with Middle East leadership, I have decided to replace the 20 percent United States Reimbursement Fee with Trade and Investment Deals that the various Gulf States will be making into the United States,” he wrote online. No further details on the investments have been provided. But Trump said the U.S. would still reinstate its blockade on Iran as planned.
For the next couple hours, anyway.
The “highly productive” conversations probably consisted of various sheikhs telling our president, “Do you think our dates have slid off the cracker? You’re a cheap grifter and a thief. We’re not paying a dime and, no, we don’t want to buy any bitcoin, thanks.”
What a fiasco this is. Now, there isn’t even a profit motive attached to this ungodly waste of time, money, and lives. There’s just one guy lost in the cobwebs and strange in his own mind. Of course, there’s always big boom-boom to make him smile.
But Trump said the U.S. would still reinstate its blockade on Iran as planned. The U.S. military said it would begin a blockade of ships entering or exiting Iranian ports at 4 p.m. ET.
Check back next Tuesday for the inevitable further developments.
