We continue to be amazed by how well Quince is able to provide top-of-the-line apparel while continuously undercutting the bigger name brands’ pricing—and we’re here for it. Just like the brand’s high-performance polos, these ProTech pants give you the best bang for your buck. But, just because these pants are a shade over $50, don’t think that you aren’t getting a solid pair.

I put them through their paces during sweltering, 100-degree Texas heat and they didn’t disappoint. Even though this pair is crafted using durable polyester, they felt quite light and very breathable, so much so that I didn’t notice myself sweating any more than when I play in a pair of shorts. Plus, they offer just enough stretch without feeling like compression gear, which is what I prefer.

They offer UPF-50 sun protection, are moisture-wicking, and nail some of the smaller details that go overlooked: zippered back pocket, an inner coin pocket (great for holding tees), and a sturdy snap-button waist. The waistband does not stretch as much as other performance brands, and I also noticed that sizing appears to be a bit off, as they ran longer than I expected. Not a total deal breaker for myself, or the hundreds of other 5-star reviews, but choose your sizing carefully (the brand offers free returns, thankfully).
