Between a black crocodile Hermès Kelly, a rare burgundy alligator style from the Row, a statement leopard-print Prada, and a handful of Lady Diors, Jennifer Lawrence’s bag collection might just find its way to a museum one day. But for now, the Hunger Games actor knows the best part of having such fabulous pieces is actually getting to wear them—and her latest show-stopping accessory more than deserved a night out on the town.
Heading to dinner in New York City with her husband, art dealer Cooke Maroney, Lawrence was photographed wearing a collection of fall staples—all in shades of black. She kept things timeless in a pair of flowy trousers, and wrapped herself in a long black coat for warmth. For a little something extra, she added a scarf, and for shoes, she went with heeled strappy sandals.
But it was her bag that truly stole the show. Perched on Lawrence’s arm, against the backdrop of an all-black color palette, was a red-and-pink ombré piece, defined by rows and rows of cascading glass bead tassels. Courtesy of the Veil, the London-based brain-child of model Adwoa Aboah and designer Georgie Wright, it was embroidered entirely by hand, the flapper-style fringe stitched to a rectangular red satin base and held by a crystal-linked Art Deco-inspired chain.
The outing came about a week ahead of Lawrence and Maroney’s eighth wedding anniversary. The couple married on October 19, 2019, and have since welcomed two sons: Cy, in 2022, and Louie, in early 2025.
