Dakota Johnson and MGK’s Sneaky Style Sync: What Their Outfit Game Reveals About Their Next Move
Have you ever noticed how some couples just get each other on every level—including fashion? Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly, this Hollywood’s freshest duo, seem to be locked in perfect sartorial harmony. Just recently, they were spotted enjoying a cozy dinner date in Calabasas, rocking coordinated leather looks that practically screamed “power couple.” Now, in a world where relationships can be as fleeting as a trending hashtag, isn’t it refreshing to see style syncing up this effortlessly? Dakota’s luxe Dôen shearling jacket paired with ripped jeans and a vintage Prada tote—totally high-low chic—while MGK brought his signature rocker vibe with a studded Sp5der jacket and bubblegum-pink bandana pop. You can’t help but wonder: is matching leather the new version of couple’s yoga? Whatever it is, these two are owning it—together.
Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly may be one of the newest couples in our Hollywood circles, but it seems they’re already totally in sync—sartorially, at least.
Last night, the actor and the musician were seen on a dinner date at Mediterranean restaurant Casaléna in Calabasas, California, and in coordinating leather looks, no less.
Johnson was cool and fabulous as per usual, keeping warm with the help of a black leather jacket with a tan shearling collar. The sleek, zip piece hails from Dôen and retails for a hot $1,850.
A lover of high-low style, the Materialists star paired her jacket with baggy, ripped blue jeans and a statement bag from Prada. This was a vintage leopard-print pony-hair tote with black leather top handles.
Black ballet flats, some classic gold jewelry, and a messy top knot held up with a red claw clip pulled it all together.
MGK—born Colson Baker—matched her vibe in his own black leather biker jacket: the textured, studded Sp5der debossed web leather jacket by Spider Worldwide (Sp5der). He styled the outerwear over a slouchy black hoodie. As for bottoms, the “I Think I’m OKAY” singer opted for baggy orange sweatpants that pooled around his white Vans sneakers. A bubblegum-pink bandana (that matched the lettering on his jacket) added an additional pop of color.
Johnson and MGK have not publicly commented on their relationship, but they have been spotted out together several times since July, after they reportedly hit it off at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s starry Madison Square Garden wedding.
