The owner of beauty gadgets used by the likes of Kim Kardashian and Serena Williams is planning to list on the stock market.

The holding company of The Beauty Tech Group – which owns brands CurrentBody, ZIIP Beauty and Tria Laser – said it wants to float in London to “take the business to the next level”.

The listing, which could see the firm valued at £350m (€403.5m), would boost the London market amid an exodus of companies through takeovers or defections overseas.

Cheshire-based The Beauty Tech Group was founded in 2009 as CurrentBody.com by chief executive Laurence Newman and chief technology officer Andrew Showman.

Initially selling third-party, at-home beauty devices, the group shifted in 2019 to exclusively trading its own-brand devices under the three companies.
