New York Fashion Week has officially kicked off, with tastemakers from across the world coming to the island to preview the Spring/Summer 2026 collections over the next several days. To celebrate the launch of its buzzy new Talisman collection, Pandora got in on the fun, inviting friends of the brand to lower Manhattan to see the new pieces up close along with a special performance by FKA Twigs. Attendees included campaign ambassadors Pamela Anderson and Tyla, along with Ciara, Tommy Dorfman, and Katseye.
The event took place at Halo, a circular showspace with a glass ceiling that puts the city skyline front and center. As guests dressed in cocktail attire mingled amongst gold medallions engraved with swallows, lions, and mythical creatures like the pegasus, lines formed for a personalized talisman fitting and sound chamber, while others added their names to the waitlist for a tattoo courtesy of the brand.
Champagne and bourbon-infused cocktails matching the pink carpet flowed throughout the next two hours while the crowd eagerly waited for Twigs to take the stage. Around 9pm, DJ Rae Sada concluded their dance-inducing set and a band started to take their places by the bass and chrome harp. Conversations quickly dropped to a low hum. And then an acoustic version of “Home Alone” began as the British songstress slowly stepped onto the stage.
The intimate performance included a selection of songs from her latest album Eusexua as well as Magdalene, ending on an ethereal high with “Cellophane.” Twigs wore a grey bustier and a matching mini skirt, with stacks of silver Talisman charms dripping from each of her wrists. She herself looked like a mythical creature, both a vision from the past yet way ahead of our time.
Afterwards, fashion favorite Heron Preston took the stage to end the night on an energetic high and the crowd started to break apart, taking one final close up of the charm-adorned wristlets, earrings, and necklace strands that were featured throughout. The evening was, as they say, worth its weight in gold.
The Talisman collection is available to shop online at Pandora.com and at retail locations.
