Monday night in New York City’s Financial District wasn’t just another evening—it was a dazzling plunge into the future with Luar’s poetic fashion spectacle. And guess who was front and center, turning heads with that unmistakable rockstar flair? Yep, Demi Lovato, the newly-married songstress who showed up sharp in a crisp white button-up and a sleek gray pinstripe maxi skirt. But here’s the twist: just when you think you’ve got Demi’s style pinned down, she flips the script with double eyeglasses—black chunky squares layered over gray alien-esque ovals—and a pair of glossy black pumps that scream confidence. Monday night ended with a poetic, futuristic show from Luar held in New York City’s Financial District; and there to witness it all was Demi Lovato.
The newly-married singer suited up for the stylish evening, opting for a fitted white button-up with sharp, wide lapels, and a gray pinstripe maxi skirt.
But it’s never really a Lovato look without some rockstar edge, and this time, it came in the form of sharp, glossy black pumps, Luar’s leather-and-suede Brooke bag in inky black, and not one, but two glasses.
The “Cool for the Summer” singer wore a funky Luar staple that involves a pair of black, chunky, square eyeglasses layered over a pair of gray, oval, alien-esque shades. The result is something trippy and unexpected, much like the brand’s Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The double eyewear retails for only $188.
Others who attended the Luar show included Solange Knowles, reality star Luann de Lesseps, Latto, Peso Pluma and girlfriend Kenia Os, and Dennis Rodman.
Following the show, Lovato threw an Fashion Week after-party with Paper Magazine, and even debuted her new song “Frequency,” as well as danced along to other hit tracks played by the party’s DJ. The musician is getting ready to release her ninth studio album, It’s Not That Deep, on October 24.
Lovato changed out of her business look for the bash, slipping instead into an olive-green bra top and matching slinky, low-rise skirt. She styled the pieces with a black button-up bodysuit, which she left open to let the bra peek through, and rolled up at the sleeves. She stuck to one pair of black shades for this look.
