Aldi shoppers absolutely love this biannual event (held in the spring and fall). From noodles to schnitzel, special food products hit the shelves under Aldi’s private-label brand, Deutsche Küche. What makes the items so special, however, is that they are actually imported from Germany. 

This fun seasonal promotion gives Americans a chance to enjoy authentic German food favorites without having to head overseas. Plus, the grocery store chain’s famously low prices mean the items are affordable. 

Must-try Aldi German Week products for Oktoberfest

On a recent visit to Aldi, we discovered some incredible treasures that give you authentic German flavors without the gourmet price tag. Here are 7 German Week products that deliver amazing value and taste:

Doppelino Sandwich Biscuits

Oreo fans will likely enjoy this German variety, which features creme filling sandwiched between two flavored cookies. Choose from three flavors, each with their own unique spin.

Aldi describes it as “a delicious traditional German golden cake filled with vanilla flavored cream, topped with caramelized flaked almonds.”

Where to find Aldi’s German Week foods

If you want to try any of the items for yourself (or see what else the store has to offer), don’t hesitate to head to your local Aldi. Though German Week is officially running through September 23, 2025, things may leave the shelves quickly, and Aldi says they won’t be restocked after they sell out.

“German Week products are part of the ALDI Finds aisle which features new limited-time specialty items released on a weekly basis,” Aldi spokesperson Bridget Kozlowski told Woman’s World. “ALDI Finds, including the German Week products, are available nationwide while supplies last.”

You can find most of the products in the “Aldi Finds” aisle, but be sure to visit the frozen section too, where you’ll find options like schnitzel, cakes, pretzels and frozen potatoes.
