RTÉ is celebrating the success of the first season of The Traitors Ireland, which concluded this week after four weeks of suspense-driven television that kept audiences gripped across both broadcast and streaming.
The broadcaster revealed that the main series and its spin-off, The Traitors Ireland Uncloaked, have together reached more than 2.1 million people on television to date, while generating over 4 million streams on RTÉ Player.
Audience figures underline the show’s broad appeal.
Each episode of The Traitors Ireland averaged 557,000 viewers and a 50% share of the audience, while the finale, which saw Oyin, Kelley and Vanessa emerge victorious, drew 732,000 viewers and secured a 57% share.
Among younger viewers, the series achieved a standout 70% share in the 18–44 demographic.
RTÉ Player has also proven central to the programme’s success.
The finale alone drew 89,000 live streams, while Uncloaked—the behind-the-scenes companion series—has amassed 590,000 streams to date, demonstrating demand for cross-platform storytelling.
