Unlock Beast Mode: The Compression Shirt That’s Turning Fitness Into an Anime Power-Up You Can Wear!
Who would’ve thought that Under Armour – the titan of performance gear – would dive headfirst into the world of anime? Yep, you heard that right. They’ve teamed up with Crunchyroll, the global powerhouse of anime, to drop a limited-edition Jujutsu Kaisen-inspired workout collection that’s already causing a frenzy. It’s like your favorite training clothes just got supercharged with cursed energy. And seriously, who doesn’t need a little Toji Fushiguro mojo in their workout wardrobe? The hype kicked off at New York Comic Con, where the first batch vanished in a blink, but don’t sweat it — the collection hits Under Armour’s website October 15. If you’re wondering whether this anime-meets-athleticwear mashup is just a gimmick or the real deal, stick around — it’s packed with tech-savvy gear designed to keep you cool, dry, and looking epic at the gym or on the street. Ready to power up your training game, anime style?
UNDER ARMOUR’S LATEST collaboration is one we didn’t see coming, but it is most certainly one that we need. The performance apparel company announced it will be partnering with global anime powerhouse Crunchyroll for a limited-time, Jujutsu Kaisen-inspired collaboration on some of its most iconic workout clothes. The collection was announced this month at New York Comic Con, with first dibs to guests, but their supply has already sold out. The collection will be available on their website on October 15 (heads up: you can buy it right now if you join the UA loyalty program with your email).
The three-piece collection includes editor-tested fitness favorites. Our all-time favorite compression shirt, the Under Armour Heat Gear Short-Sleeved Shirt, is getting a new Toji Fushiguro-inspired aesthetic, complete with his inverted spear. The short-sleeved compression shirt has been a long-time staple of our editors’ workout wardrobe, and we’re huge fans of Under Armour’s HeatGear fabric’s sweat-wicking and anti-odor technology, which effectively insulates body heat in colder weather and wicks away sweat in the heat. The Jusutsu Kaisen version will retail for just $40.
Under Armour’s long-sleeve iteration will also see a pair of anime upgrades. The brand announced that the HeatGear Mock Lock Sleeve Shirt will be available in styles dedicated to a pair of fan favorites—mentor Satoru Gojo and the evil sorcerer everyone loves to hate, Suguru Geto. The Gojo-coded piece will be the collection’s only white colorway and features a Red and Blue homage to his Limitless Cursed Technique. Geto’s version is black and includes his infamous Rainbow Dragon along the sleeves.
This NYCC-adjacent collection is certainly a little off-brand from Under Armour’s usual mega drops, but the timing is relevant. Crunchyroll recently confirmed the anime’s latest arc, The Culling Game, will debut in January 2026, streaming exclusively on its streaming platform. Coupled with the start of NYCC—and the changing East Coast weather—an upgrade to Under Armour’s HeatGear couldn’t come at a better time.
If you didn’t grab Comic Con tickets this year, you’ll have to wait patiently until October 15. Until then, you can shop some of our usual editor-tested favorites below.
