The glamorous couple shut down the red carpet on day three of the Venice International Film Festival with their magnificent entrance and displays of love.

The beloved actor looked sharp as ever in a pristine black tuxedo with a bow tie and shined-up dress shoes. His only accessories were a gold watch with a brown leather band, and his wedding band.

Amal was the belle of the ball (though when is she not?) in a fabulous fuchsia gown.

In the front, the vintage Jean-Louis Scherrer piece was a ruched strapless minidress with a sweetheart neckline and small buttons running down the middle. But the mini brought the drama with its train, which was like a voluminous, flowing skirt. When photographed from the back, the design made the British barrister look like she was wearing a full ball gown.

Always one to let a great dress to the talking, Amal wore the look only with a gold Jimmy Choo clutch, strappy gold stiletto sandals from Aquazzura, and dangly gold chandelier earrings. Sparkly gold eyeshadow brightened her eyes, and she countered the megawatt glamour of her gown with an effortless, wavy hairdo.
