Ariana Grande may be known for her many hairstyles, like the high ponytail and that unforgettable silver hue from the Sweetener era, but did you know that her natural hair is actually quite curly?

Although she’s been presumably straightening it for quite some time (even back in her Victorious days, when she played the red-haired Cat Valentine), the truth is that Grande’s raw texture is quite curly, while the color is a dark brown. And in a new Instagram video, the “Twilight Zone” singer gave followers a rare glimpse at her natural ’do.

In the clip, she’s seen wearing a sheet mask and going through a series of lip products (mostly from her own R.E.M. Beauty), while her bouncy ringlets are on full display.

Her hair is pulled back with a thin white headband, and she’s also seen sporting a “Focker-in-Law” sweatshirt, a nod to the title of the upcoming fourth installment in the Fockers franchise, in which she will star.

Grande’s original intention for the video was to show off just how many different lip products she keeps in her bag. (The answer? 21.) “Guys, I’m going through my purse and I think it’s actually crucial that you see,” the Oscar nominee says at the beginning. “I want you to know how many things in my bag are lip products.”

She pokes fun at herself in the caption too, writing: “How many lip glosses are too many? the limit does not exist💧♡.” Later, she also left a comment that read: “& this was befooooooore my order from @ultabeauty arrived 😭🥲 ♡.”

However, while the original intention was to underscore just how many lip products she keeps on her at all times, it ended up being all about her hair.
