For one, she quite literally took things back a century, turning a vintage 1950s set into something contemporary through her glittery makeup and exposed tattoos. Pulled from celebrity-favorite vintage curator Timeless Vixen, Grande’s dress and coat were designed by Lilli Diamond, a go-to label of the time known for their cocktail dresses and hoop skirts. The black midi gown was constructed with ruching at the bodice, delicate spaghetti straps, and magenta floral appliqués. The flowers matched the color of her coat’s lining, which peeked out as the artist and actress walked, draping it on her arms.

For a similar color moment, the star changed into a custom Givenchy gown. Designed by Sarah Burton, the fuchsia piece was draped from duchesse satin and fashioned with a sliced cape down the back for a bit of added drama. The column silhouette mirrored Audrey Hepburn’s iconic Breakfast at Tiffany’s look, also a custom Givenchy, providing a nostalgic base for the modern accents.

Her custom Robert Wun gown, however, earned stylist Law Roach’s top spot, not just on the press tour, but overall. “One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen,” he captioned his Instagram post, showing a behind-the-scenes look at the pale pink masterpiece. Designed with a strapless bodice breaking into a massive full skirt, the piece was made from doubled silk wool crepe and adorned with feathered, chromed butterflies that looked ready to take off at any moment. Paired with matching opera gloves, it was a surrealist take on a ’50s style—and the ultimate princess look.
