Ariana Grande is ready to get Glinda-ified once again. As the press tour for Wicked: For Good officially gets underway—set for release later this year in November—the actress and singer is stepping back into the radiant, whimsical world of her beloved character.
On Friday, Grande took to Instagram to share a stunning look from the film’s promo, styled by celebrity favorite Law Roach.
The style formula for a good Glinda outfit is as follows: breezy, whimsical, and fit for a princess, which is exactly what Grande wore. The actor slipped into an archival Elie Saab gown in a soft yellow-green shade, delicately draped and adorned with lavender floral accents that perfectly echo the film’s fairy-tale charm.
Her dreamy ensemble was paired with cream high heels and simple diamond jewelry. She kept her hair in a half-up, half-down look with a sleek finish. Her makeup artist Matthew Anthony, went for a natural, radiant glow with a pink eye shadow, a diffused cat-eye liner, pink lips, and sculpted cheekbones.
Wicked: For Good is the sequel to the 2024 Wicked film that premiered last November. The story continues to follow Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now living in exile in the mystical Ozian forest, while Glinda luxuriates in Emerald City’s palace.
The film also stars Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Michelle Yeoh, Marissa Bode, and more.
Grande has spoken about what stepping into the role of Glinda has meant to her in the past, emphasizing how fulfilling it truly was.
“It just feels like this experience was such a homecoming for me,” she said in an interview last November. “I feel like I came home to myself in a lot of ways, through what I learned from Glinda and Elphaba.”
