On the first day of the 2025 Venice International Film Festival, our favorite outfit recycler showed up in a glamorous black gown from Armani Privé, which she previously wore to the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2022.

Just like it did back then, the obsidian design completely stole the show on the Venice red carpet, thanks to its array of striking details.

Blanchett’s dress was decorated with large, stone-like embellishments along the neckline.

First off, there was that rounded, plunging neckline, which dipped all the way down to Blanchett’s stomach. There, it was met by a structural waist with material that jutted in front of the actor like pockets—Blanchett even stuck her hands into them at one point.

Prior to walking the red carpet, the Blue Jasmine star arrived to Venice in a light gray suit coat and matching tie-waist slacks, which she layered with a white dress shirt and elevated with Stella McCartney sunglasses and a leather handbag from Louis Vuitton.
