The summer everyone watched women’s sports. New York Liberty’s season kicked off with a bang of exciting Opening Day tunnel looks and since then the games have become a favorite hangout spot for celebs and fans alike.
On August 10, The Summer I Turned Pretty cast—Christopher Briney, Sean Kaufman, Minnie Mills, and Briney’s girlfriend Isabel Machado—were spotted in fan videos courtside enjoying a game against the Minnesota Lynx.
For their Sunday afternoon double date, the four all coordinated their outfits and showed off their team spirit in casual black and green team jerseys. They kept their looks lowkey and easygoing, perfect attire for a casual weekend activity, with Briney wearing a black cap backwards.
Briney has been in a relationship with Machado since June 2021. Having met years earlier at Pace University, the two graduated in the summer of 2020 after meeting as students and quickly becoming friends. “We were friends first,” Briney previously told People. “We went to college together and we lived together. We knew that we could do it.”
The third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty is now airing on Prime Video. The series is based on Jenny Han’s beloved romance books. Season three follows the same storyline as her novel We’ll Always Have Summer.
It begins nearly four years after the events of season two, with Belly (Lola Tung) finishing her junior year of college with her long-term boyfriend, Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), by her side. But Jeremiah’s older brother—and Belly’s first love—Conrad (Christopher Briney), returns, making Belly rethink everything.
