For the Happy Gilmore 2 cast, dressing down is a form of dressing up. Before the actors behind the hit comedy sequel on Netflix attended the premiere at Lincoln Center in New York City last night, the cast channeled their inner Happy and took photos inspired by their leading star: Adam Sandler.

The Sandler-core shoot featured the film’s signature putting green and Happy Gilmore-themed 9 irons, as well as golf bags, Boston Bruins hockey uniforms, and a special appearance from Morris the Alligator. If you ask me, no one beat the Sand-man himself. The Happy Gilmore 2 star found his happy placed and rocked the red carpet with some orange basketball shorts, sneakers, tube socks, and a classic Hawaiian shirt.

Happy Gilmore 2 premieres on Netflix this Friday, July 25. The story reportedly follows Happy twenty-five years after he won his first Tour Championship in the original 1996 film. Needing money to pay for his daughter’s expensive ballet school, he returns to golf to dominate by absolutely slamming the ball and hitting complicated Rube Goldberg machines once again.

Original cast members Bowen, McDonald, and Ben Stiller are all returning for the sequel, alongside celebrity cameos from Travis Kelce, Bad Bunny, Benny Safdie, Eric André, Marcello Hernandez, Haley Joel Osment, Rob Schneider, Kid Cudi, Jon Lovitz, Steve Buscemi, countless professional golfers, and Sandler’s real-life daughter, Sunny Sandler.
