Sustainable foodservice company Gather + Gather Ireland has received the 3-Star Food Made Good Award, the highest possible rating under the Sustainable Restaurant Association‘s Food Made Good Standard.

The honour reflects best-in-class achievement across all aspects of a foodservice operation, and Gather + Gather was specifically recognised for measurable impact across the standard’s three pillars: sourcing, society and environment.

“We’re thrilled to have retained our 3-Star rating, a recognition that highlights our ongoing commitment to sustainability across Society, Sourcing, and Environment,” said Pauline Cox, managing director of Gather + Gather Ireland.

“This award celebrates the dedication of our teams, suppliers, and partners, and reinforces our passion for sourcing the finest local ingredients, supporting our communities, and caring for the planet. It inspires us to continue driving positive change through food every day.”

The Sustainable Restaurant Association awarded Gather + Gather for its plant-forward menus, which highlight seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, and for its partnerships with over 100 small producers supporting heritage grains, regeneratively reared meats, and fresh produce.

The company has also made full-crop purchasing agreements to minimise waste and give farmers greater certainty, and used AI to track and reuse surplus ingredients.
