Amidst the fanfare of Paris Fashion Week, just hours before the Chanel show, Harper’s Bazaar joined forces with specialty store Dover Street Market to toast our September icons issue, and, more specifically, the release of our feature on the lauded store, with an intimate cocktail party. Our editor-in-chief Samira Nasr and president of Dover Street Market International (and Comme des Garçons) Adrian Joffe gathered a room of the industry’s most exciting creatives to sip champagne by La Maison Moët & Chandon, swap opinions on the week’s fashion shows, and celebrate artistry in Paris’s stylish Marais neighborhood.

Our September icons issue is an annual tradition that celebrates those making an indelible mark on culture. Dover Street Market’s proposition centers the same ethos; the multi-brand retailer with locations across the globe has long served as a sort of incubator for the industry’s most exciting design talent. The two institutions came together to toast creativity and collaboration during fashion’s biggest week of the year.
