In 2022, the world was introduced to Stephan, Taylor and Luke, the three brothers whose story captured hearts in Hallmark’s Three Wise Men and a Baby. Two years later, their story continued in Three Wiser Men and a Boy, and the world fell even harder for the Brenner brothers as they took on their next phase of life set against the backdrop of the holiday season. Now, the trio is back for a third time with the upcoming release of their newest film, Three Wisest Men, airing on Hallmark on Saturday, November 15 at 8 p.m. Here, Woman’s World chatted with two of the film’s stars, Tyler Hynes and Paul Campbell (Campbell also writing the film), to talk about their new movie and what it’s been like to join forces for a third time.

Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker and Paul Campbell are the dream team
In the first Three Wise Men film, the Brenner brothers get the surprise of a lifetime when a baby shows up at the firehouse where Luke (played by Andrew Walker) works. So begins an unexpected journey that brings these once distant brothers back together around the holidays as they learn to care for this child. So what is it that pulls people in year after year?
“We always set out to write humanity, and I think a lot of people see their own families reflected in this Brenner family,” explained Paul Campbell, who plays Stephan. “In particular, the way that we relate, the way that we disagree with one another, the way that we make up, the way that we share, the way that we’re vulnerable. The imperfectness of it all I think is really reflective of just the way the vast majority of people’s families really are. And maybe there’s comfort in seeing that on the screen and knowing that probably there’s going to be a happy ending.”

What to expect in ‘Three Wisest Men’
In the latest installment in the Three Wise Men film series, all three brothers are embracing the new and exciting changes ahead of them. With twins on the way for Luke, a new job opportunity looming for Taylor (Hynes) and Stephan preparing for his wedding ahead, there’s much on the horizon for the Brenners—and when their mom lets them know that she plans on selling their childhood home, their world gets shaken.
“We wanted to give Tyler, Taylor, the most to deal with. The surprise was how challenged Taylor is, more so than Luke and Stephan,” Paul Campbell explained. “And it sort of speaks to the evolution of these characters. It also speaks to the evolution of Taylor that with what he’s going through in his own life at the time, the idea of selling the house becomes really unsafe for him, that it brings up a lot of stuff for him emotionally.”
Despite this difficult journey for Taylor, the film is still full of lighthearted laughs, and taking on comedic roles as opposed to the typical romance films they’re used to on Hallmark has been a ton of fun for this crew.

“There’s a different dynamic, and it’s honestly refreshing to try to find ways that give this audience what they love in new and exciting ways,” explained Tyler Hynes. “And the fact that we have this outlet that feels like a reprieve from the other thing, I think, refreshes to go back and tell a sort of traditional rom-com, and then to go here and do something that is more family-oriented, more funny, more cast-orientated, it’s fun. It’s a nice shift, but I do feel the urge to look lovingly into Andrew and Paul’s eyes,” the actor joked.
While these films mean quite a lot to Hallmark audiences, they mean just as much to the actors bringing them to life. “I don’t think there’s anything better than to be trying to make something lovely for an audience as wonderful and appreciative and deserving as they are,” said Hynes. “And then to be able to do that with your best friends, who you love and admire as human beings and artists, that’s like the holy grail.”
