The CrossOver bra is a bestseller for the brand, and one of its sexier styles thanks to its cut-out panels and a semi low-cut silhouette.

The brand is big on its products being comfortable, having inclusive sizing, using quality fabrics, and providing seamless coverage. Honeylove is still a niche brand, but it’s built up a following in people who crave comfort and support.

Overall, I found that the CrossOver bra lives up to its comfortable reputation, but there are a few things to keep in mind before snapping this one up for yourself. Here’s what I learned over weeks of testing.

How I Tested The Honeylove CrossOver Bra

Honeylove’s CrossOver bra is an everyday option, so it’s designed to be worn most of the time—to work, grocery shopping, dinners out…pretty much everything but your workouts. To test the Honeylove CrossOver bra, I wore it nearly every day for three weeks and put it through the wash six times to see how well it held up.

I paid close attention to the fit, fabric durability, support, adjustability, and comfort during all-day wear. After testing this bra a ton, I feel confident in saying that it’s definitely comfortable, and has earned a spot in my regular bra rotation. Here’s why I think it’s worth considering.

It’s Wireless, But Still Provides Lift.

On a basic level, this is a utilitarian bra. Meaning, it’ll deliver on the support and comfort front, but it’s not as sexy as a lace-covered underwire option. Still, Honeylove did a good job adding in elements you can feel cute in. There are peekaboo mesh sides and a mesh overlay at the top of the bra, creating a little something extra in the style department. It definitely has a sexier look than many wireless bras out there, like the Evelyn & Bobbie Defy Bra, Wacoal How Perfect Bra, or ThirdLove Comfort Stretch Bra.

Right away, I could tell that this bra was made with high-quality materials. The straps are sturdy, the cups are smooth and secure, and the bra’s band is wide enough to offer support without being overly intense.

The CrossOver bra feels like a sports bra on, which is especially handy for women in search of something extra-comfortable (hi). Honeylove is big on avoiding underwire, so I wasn’t expecting much in terms of lift. But the bra uses a bonded cradle instead of underwire that still delivers a little boost. (It’s not as much as you’d get with actual underwire, but it’s still something.) There’s also flexible boning at the sides of the cups to prevent sideboob. Just a heads up: That boning can dig into your sides if you get the sizing wrong or if you tend to carry a little extra underarm fat.

The cups themselves are smooth and unfussy, making this a perfect bra to wear under T-shirts, along with fitted and slightly see-through tops. There are also no tags, which I always have to clip out of my bras. Mesh accents around the top of the bra make it a little sexier, although they’ll peek through some V-neck tops. It wasn’t a deal-killer for me, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind if you wear a lot of low-cut shirts.

It might be minor to some people but, as someone who does a ton of laundry, I really appreciate that this bra comes with its own wash bag. That allows you to toss this in the laundry without worrying about it getting snagged or misshapen after getting tangled in something else.

Like All Bras, It May Take a Little Work to Find the Right Fit.

This admittedly may be a “me” problem, but I struggled a little with the fit. I have a small chest, and it’s hard to find a bra that’s supportive and provides coverage without being too tight or too loose in the cups. The CrossOver bra has four rows of hook and eye closures to give you a little leeway with fit. But the brand also points out that it’s a good idea to size down if you’re between sizes, and I messed up there.

I ended up with a bra that was slightly too big so, yeah, I agree with Honeylove’s advice to size down. I noticed that the bra tended to creep up on me when I raised my arms, but that was likely because the fit was slightly off.

But all of the online claims that this is a lightweight bra you can wear all day are 100 percent accurate: I didn’t even notice I had this on most of the time.

A Lot of Thought Went Into This Bra.

Wireless bras tend to be purely functional and kind of bare-bones. But Honeylove put in a lot of elements that you don’t normally see in a wireless bra, like removable bra cups. I personally prefer a cup to keep nipples from popping through, but not everyone is into them. Either way, it’s nice to have options. While these bra cups are removable, they stay put when you want them to—I didn’t have any issues with cups falling out in the wash.

The bra’s band is wide enough to provide support but not so wide that it messes with your silhouette. The straps are durable and easy to adjust, and you can unhook them in the back to create a cross-back shape. I relied on that style when I wore tank tops, but morphed it back into its standard shape for everything else.

Honeylove Makes a Bunch of Other Wireless Bras to Consider, Too.

If you like the idea of a more stylish wireless bra, but want a slightly different silhouette, Honeylove also has its popular CloudEmbrace bra. Dubbed the “T-shirt bra of the future,” this bra has a deeper V in front and memory foam cups for a gentle, cradled feel, making it good for button-front shirts and low-cut tees. People with bigger chests craving some serious support should consider the SoftForm, with its super soft feel and almost sports bra-like design—it’s more in line for traditional wireless bras.

Final Verdict: Should You Buy the Honeylove CrossOver Bra?

If wireless comfort is tops on your must-have list, the CrossOver bra is definitely worth checking out. It’s soft and supportive, without digging into your chest, making it comfortable to wear for hours. It’s also not ugly, like so many other wireless bras out there. While it’s not cheap, the $69 price tag is pretty in line with other wireless bras.

I like that this bra is versatile enough to wear under a range of tops, too. But, while I’ve put the Honeylove CrossOver bra into my regular rotation, it’s still not the option I’ll reach for on date night when I want to look and feel a little sexier. But for everyday wear, like work, errands, and just hanging around the house, I’m all in.
