Jung Kook fans are a patient bunch. It’s been nearly three years since the Korean superstar dropped his album Golden. Four since he and his BTS bandmates introduced the anthology triple-album Proof to the world. Five (and change) since the release of Be and an Esquire cover to mark the occasion. Granted, a couple years of mandatory military service can disrupt the artistic output of even the biggest K-pop idols—but still, it’s been more than a year since he and bandmate Jimin were discharged.

Luckily, fans needn’t wait any longer. The next album, Arirang, arrives on March 20, 2026. There’s a reunion show the next day, a Netflix doc less than a week later, and a full-blown tour kicking off in April. But we’re not talking about any of those things right now, because when we say that fans don’t need to wait any longer for a dose of Jung Kook, we mean it—like not a single second longer.

Another look behind the scenes of the shoot.

Today, the singer appears in his latest Calvin Klein campaign, rocking a varsity jacket and leafing through the albums in a record store before slipping on a pair of headphones and being transported by the music. There’s an extremely ’90s music-video moment. A brief moment of solitude in one of those glass-and-steel seaside abodes that seem to only appear in movies and TV shows. There’s even a brief “Footloose” dance montage that’s interrupted by an unexpected (but very welcome) Rosie Perez cameo.

It’s all very cool. Very casual. Very Calvin. And, of course, very Jung Kook, too.
