Lindsay Lohan’s Pink Chloé Slip Dress Hides a Shocking Easter Egg You’ll Never Guess—Here’s What It Really Means!
Remember Pink Slip, that fictional band from the 2003 flick Freaky Friday? Yeah, the one that somehow managed to embed itself into the soundtrack of our early aughts memories—and possibly, our emotional playlists forever. You ever catch yourself humming one of their tunes outta nowhere? Me too. It’s wild how a made-up group can feel so genuinely iconic, right? Well, get this: as Lindsay Lohan gears up to reprise her role as Anna Coleman in the sequel Freakier Friday, she and her stylist, Andrew Mukamal, are dialing up the nostalgia not just with the storyline but with some seriously pointed fashion callbacks. Think of it as a style reunion that’s equal parts homage and fresh reinvention. Her latest pink outfit is hardly just a nod—it’s an evolution—from the angsty girl gang vibe of the original flick to a breezier, boho chic aesthetic that made me do a double take. If you’ve ever wondered how to turn retro cool into modern-day glamour without missing a beat and perhaps, without losing your mind over it—Lindsay’s doing just that. Curious to see how a pink slip dress and a few accessories can tell a whole story across two decades? Let’s dive in. LEARN MORE

If you’re anything like me, the fictional band Pink Slip from the 2003 film Freaky Friday has taken up much of your mental real estate over the years. From their angsty, early aughts style to the unforgettable soundtrack, it’s a moment in pop culture that made quite the impact for anyone who grew up in that era.
As Lindsay Lohan gets ready to return to the screen as Anna Coleman in Freakier Friday, the actor (and her stylist Andrew Mukamal) has been making a slew of pointed references with her outfits that pay homage to the original movie.
Her latest pink ensemble seems to nod back to the iconic girl group her character was part of, but this time, in a more boho chic way.
Sharing a photo on her Instagram, Lohan wears a pink slip dress (do you see the vision?) from Chloé with lace inserts across her chest and in small slivers near the bottom of her ensemble that frame both sides.
She paired the look with black peep-toe slingback platform heels that added to the free-spirited vibe. Lohan also reached for a few key accessories to make the look more dynamic, such as a long pink necklace looped and layered into a double drape, as well as a few bracelets and rings.
This isn’t the first time Lohan has blown us away with her press tour style. While attending the sequel’s United Kingdom premiere at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square theater in London recently, Lohan wore a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress that was a reimagining of the look she wears for the final scene of the first film.
