From their angsty, early aughts style to the unforgettable soundtrack, it’s a moment in pop culture that made quite the impact for anyone who grew up in that era.
As Lindsay Lohan gets ready to return to the screen as Anna Coleman in Freakier Friday, the actor (and her stylist Andrew Mukamal) has been making a slew of pointed references with her outfits that pay homage to the original movie.
Her latest pink ensemble seems to nod back to the iconic girl group her character was part of, but this time, in a more boho chic way.
Sharing a photo on her Instagram, Lohan wears a pink slip dress (do you see the vision?) from Chloé with lace inserts across her chest and in small slivers near the bottom of her ensemble that frame both sides.
She paired the look with black peep-toe slingback platform heels that added to the free-spirited vibe. Lohan also reached for a few key accessories to make the look more dynamic, such as a long pink necklace looped and layered into a double drape, as well as a few bracelets and rings.
This isn’t the first time Lohan has blown us away with her press tour style. While attending the sequel’s United Kingdom premiere at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square theater in London recently, Lohan wore a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress that was a reimagining of the look she wears for the final scene of the first film.
