- The rarely discounted Ghost 17 is the highlight of the sale thus far.
WHEN BROOKS SHOES go on sale, our ears perk up. When a new Brooks shoe goes on sale, we sound the alarms. Good alarms, of course.
Right now, a pair of our favorite running shoes, the Brooks Ghost 17, is 20 percent off on Amazon during its Spring Sale Event. We’ve seen the previous model, the Ghost 16, on sale plenty, but this is the first time we’ve seen the latest model on discount, and now’s a good time to stock up on an editor staple.
The Ghost 17 debuted last May, and the shoes made some considerable upgrades to their best-selling line. The shoes add 3mm of the brand’s patented DNA Loft V3 foam to the forefoot and 1mm to the heel, resulting in a smoother, gentler ride. A wider toebox, extra support, and a perfect mix of support and comfort make the Ghost 17 stand out as an everyday trainer. We’re not sure when the next iteration of the Ghost is going to be available—there’s been no formal announcement thus far—so now’s a great opportunity to grab one of Brooks’ latest sneakers for a fraction of the price.

That’s far from the end of the sale, though. Amazon has dozens of Brooks shoes for running and walking on sale, some nearly half off. We went through some of our favorites, but feel free to shop the entire selection below.

One of my personal favorite running shoes is also on sale—the Ghost Max 2. It features more forefoot cushion and offers the same tried-and-true support of the standard Ghost line. Right now, you can snag them for 33 percent off. The updated version, the Ghost Max 3, is also seeing a modest 10 percent discount, a total of around $15 off. These came out a little over 6 months ago, so we’ll take whatever we can get.
If you don’t mind the previous iteration of the Ghost line, an upgraded, waterproof version, the Brooks Men’s Ghost 16 GTX, is also over 30 percent off and now under $100. These offer a more durable, weatherproof ride that performs well in outdoor terrain.
For advanced support, the upgraded Glycerin GTS 22 is also 30 percent off, which is the lowest we’ve seen them in quite some time. These shoes feature a proprietary GuideRails holistic support system for the perfect mix of support and comfort, and are PDAC A5500-certified as a Diabetic shoe.
Arguably, the best deal of the bunch comes courtesy of nearly 50 percent off a certified classic, the Brooks Hyperion. You can now grab the ultralight, speed-focused shoe for a little over $70.
Some of our other Big Spring Sale favorites include 46 percent off the Glycerin 16, nearly 40 percent off the Hyperion Max 2, and for all of our trail runners out there, 34 percent off the editor-tested Caldera 8.
