- Greek yogurt: use unsweetened and plain Greek yogurt. Any level of fat will work, although the higher fat options (like full-fat Greek yogurt) will make a creamier yogurt. The low fat or fat free Greek yogurts have a more icy texture after freezing. For more flavor, you could also use an unsweetened vanilla Greek yogurt.
- Honey: add a little sweetness to your bark with some honey. You can omit the sweetener if you want an unsweetened bark. If you don’t have honey on hand, you can substitute with maple syrup.
- Raspberries: we love the addition of fresh raspberries, but other fresh berries like blueberries or strawberries work just as well. If using fresh strawberries, be sure to chop into smaller pieces.
- Pistachios: I love the pop of color that pistachios add to this bark and the combo of pistachios and raspberries is delicious. If you don’t have pistachios, you can substitute with chopped almonds.
