If I had to pick one sneaker for walking, running, and cross-training, it would be the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24. After testing dozens of pairs, this is the one I keep reaching for—whether I’m logging long city walks, heading out for an easy run, or mixing in strength work. With the newer Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 now out, this version is easier to score at a more affordable price.

The cushioning feels plush but not overly squishy, and the stability features keep my stride aligned without making the shoe feel stiff. Brooks’ signature GuideRails technology—firm foam along both sides of the heel—helps prevent excess inward rolling, which several WH editors noticed right away. “When stomping at light speed, I feel aligned and supported,” says fitness contributor Nicolette Accardi.
