The downside is that since it’s a duffel bag, you just don’t get the same level of organization as you do with a more traditional suitcase. There are a few small pockets, but the inside is pretty much one big empty volume, which is why it’s great for tossing in a bunch of gear. If you like to keep everything compartmentalized, you’ll definitely want to use packing cubes.
