- Make sure your luggage is empty
- Wipe down the exterior of the suitcase with a damp cloth using mild soap and water – if there are stubborn marks, try a Magic Eraser
- Clean zippers, handles, and wheels with a spare toothbrush using the same soapy water
- Use a new cloth or towel with warm water to gently wipe down any remaining residue
- Wipe down the interior with a warm cloth
- Let luggage dry with it unzipped and open
- Once dry, deodorize the interior using baking soda, charcoal bags or dry sheets
- Store in a cool, dry place to avoid mildew
