These days, thanks in large part to Love Story, it seems like everyone is trying to dress like Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. You can definitely see a bit of her influence in recent looks from Bella Hadid, who has been replacing the rustic Westernwear that defined her wardrobe these past couple of years with more a minimalist, ’90s-inspired approach. However, it appears one area in which Hadid differs from miss CBK is in her choice of headwear.
While Bessette Kennedy favored her thick tortoiseshell headbands, it appears Hadid has more of a penchant for a skinny one, as evidenced by her latest Instagram post.
In a new carousel, the Orebella founder shared a few behind-the-scenes photos from the making of her fragrance brand’s newest scent: “Jasmine Blues.”
“Final sample meeting before production and as you can tell … I’m a Libra to a T and this girl needs …options! (Thank God for a good Pantone book & my girls for their patience. 🥲,” Hadid wrote in her caption. “@orebella I love you Jasmine Blues you were so fun to make. And I love my special team of angels. I couldn’t do all of this / any of this without you. 🩵🪽🪷.”
In the photos, Hadid is seen sitting at a chair in a cedar brown trench, which she belted over a pinstripe dress shirt. Yet, the tiniest, but perhaps most striking detail of the look is the model’s thin brown acetate headband, which she uses to hold her wavy hair back (and you can emulate the look with similar, affordable options like these).
In truth, Hadid doesn’t need to model her looks after others, because she sets trends all on her own.
