Savills Ireland has announced the appointment of Ray Hanley, Director and Head of Professional Services, as Leadership Chair, succeeding Isobel O’Regan following her four-year tenure in the role.
Hanley brings over 30 years’ experience in the Irish commercial property market, with extensive expertise across valuations, agency, and landlord and tenant advisory.
Since joining Savills in 2007, he has led the Professional Services department, advising a broad range of institutional and banking clients including Bank of Ireland, AIB, IRES, Kennedy Wilson, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank.
He has been the principal point of contact on a number of significant valuation and consultancy instructions, covering all mainstream property sectors including development land, offices, retail, retail warehousing and industrial assets, both as standing investments and development projects.
In his role as Leadership Chair, Hanley will support Managing Director Mark Reynolds, chairing senior leadership meetings and maintaining a strong focus on strategic direction, governance, and the continued development of the business.
He will also play a key role in fostering effective collaboration across the leadership team.
Hanley succeeds O’Regan, who has served as Leadership Chair since 2022.
During her tenure, O’Regan provided strong leadership and governance, supporting the business through a period of significant growth and change.
Commenting on the appointment, Mark Reynolds, Managing Director of Savills Ireland, said: “Ray’s depth of experience, sound judgement and long-standing contribution to the business make him exceptionally well suited to the role of Leadership Chair.
