These are valid concerns. But in our decades of coaching, we’ve learned an essential truth: Income security doesn’t come from depending on one company or industry. True security comes from having control over your income source.
Career ownership puts you in that position of control. Instead of hoping your employer will continue to value your contribution, you create value directly. Instead of wondering if your industry will remain stable, you can choose a business model with proven resilience. This sense of security and the potential for satisfaction can be reassuring and bring a sense of contentment.
