Last week, amid promotion for her new film, The Naked Gun, a source confirmed to People that Anderson and costar Liam Neeson are “in the early stages” of dating.

The romance rumors about the pair began to swirl as the actors put their affection for one another on display and gushed about one another throughout their recent press tour. But the public’s fascination with who Anderson is dating (or married to) is nothing new.

The Baywatch alum, who has been married five times to four different men, has a long history of Hollywood romances, as well as a few unexpected relationships. From her whirlwind romance with pro surfer Kelly Slater, to her rock ‘n’ roll marriage to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, to her double marriage to professional poker player Rick Soloman, and later, to bodyguard Dan Hayhurst, Anderson’s dating history is far from typical.

In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, show host Andy Cohen touched on the actor’s famous dating history during a game of “Plead the Fifth,” where he asked Anderson if she could rank her past husbands from “favorite to least favorite.” But the Canadian native opted out of ranking her past loves and decided to indeed plead the fifth.

After a PDA-packed press tour for The Naked Gun, a source confirmed that the affectionate costars are indeed dating.

Last week, an insider who worked on the film set with the actors confirmed the news to People and said the couple’s relationship is “sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other,” adding that the actors are “enjoying each other’s company.”

Anderson and Neeson first expressed admiration for each other last fall, while filming the action comedy. “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Neeson—who was happily married to actor Natasha Richardson until her passing in 2009—told People in October. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”

Dan Hayhurst (2020—2022)

On Christmas Eve of 2020, Anderson surprised the world with the news that she had married her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst, in a private ceremony at her Vancouver Island home. It was the star’s fifth marriage, and Hayhurst her fourth husband.

For the wedding, Anderson looked straight out of a fairytale dream in a gown featuring a silky beige top, a baby-blue satin corset bodice, and a blue tulle skirt. She paired it with a white vintage veil from Valentino. Gushing about the marriage to the Daily Mail, she said at the time, “I’m exactly where I need to be—in the arms of a man who truly loves me. She added, “This is where my parents were married and they are still together. I feel like I’ve come full circle.”

In January 2022, Anderson and Hayhurst went their separate ways. A source told E! News at the time that the relationship was a “pandemic romance.” Meanwhile, another source told Us Weekly, “There was no final straw. She simply fell out of love.”

Jon Peters (2019—2020, 1988-1991)

In the late ’80s, Peters met a young, aspiring actor at a party at the Playboy Mansion. The “little angel” was Anderson.

“I walked in and saw this little angel sitting at the bar. It was Pammy. She was like 19. I knew she would be a big star. We ended up living together,” the film producer recounted in a 2017 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

The two dated for a while and Peters helped develop Anderson’s early career. He eventually proposed to her, but she turned him down at the time due to their 22-year age difference, Peters told the outlet.

But more than 30 years later, Anderson gave her romance with Peters another go. The two reconnected in 2019 and secretly married in January 2020. But the rekindled relationship was short-lived. Less than two weeks later, Anderson told THR the pair were “re-evulating” their union.

“Life is a journey, and love is a process. With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process,” she said at the time.

In 2024, Anderson opened up about her past relationship with Peters, further clarifying that the pair were never formally married.

“I never married Jon. It was never a marriage, but we were just laughing about that. That’s all that happened. But still people think that I was married to him,” she told THR. “So it’s kind of on my list on Wikipedia.”

Rick Salomon (2014—2015, 2007—2008)

Anderson’s third and fourth marriages were both to on-and-off love Rick Salomon. The two first married at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in October 2007. However, two months later, Anderson filed for divorce. While the pair seemed to have reconciled, they ultimately decided to go their separate ways and were granted an annulment in March 2008, both citing fraud as the reason for ending their marriage.

Nearly seven years after the end of their first marriage, the two reunited and remarried. They got married in January 2014, and at the time, Anderson told E! News: “We’re very happy.” She added, “Our families are very happy and that’s all that matters.”

A few months later, Anderson filed for divorce, but the two quickly reconciled, and the motion was dismissed. Then, in February 2015, the actor filed for divorce again, citing irreconcilable differences. A rep for Anderson told E! News at the time, “It’s a private matter. Pamela felt best to let go of a difficult situation.”

Tommy Lee (2008—2010, 1995—1998)

Anderson’s first, and probably most well-known marriage, was to rocker Tommy Lee. The couple famously married on a beach in Cancun, Mexico, just four days after meeting each other in 1995.

Soon into their relationship, the then-newlyweds found themselves in a headline-grabbing moment when their private honeymoon video was leaked. One of the first celebrity sex tape scandals of its kind, the news dominated the media and tabloids, putting a strain on the couple’s relationship as the messy lawsuit against video distribution company Internet Entertainment Group played out.

Despite it all, Lee and Anderson remained married for three years and welcomed sons Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger. But eventually, the relationship turned volatile and violent, and Lee was sentenced to six months in jail for spousal battery. Anderson filed for divorce shortly after the incident, according to The Los Angeles Times.

The two rekindled their romance nearly a decade later, in 2008, but split once again in 2010. In her 2023 memoir, Love, Pamela: A Memoir, the actor wrote, “My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love.”

Kid Rock (2006, 2001-2002)

Revisiting the rockstar world, Anderson began dating Kid Rock in the spring of 2001. The two quickly got engaged in 2002, but broke up a year later without saying “I do.”

Then, in July 2006, the former flames decided to give their relationship another try after running into each other in Saint Tropez. Within the same month, the couple married aboard a yacht in France. For the celebration, Anderson famously wore a captain’s hat and a white triangle bikini. Despite the blissful, fate-like run-in and marriage, Anderson filed for divorce a few weeks later, that November.

Marcus Schenkenberg (2000—2001)

Anderson enjoyed a brief relationship with the Swedish Calvin Klein model in 2000. The two, who appeared together in ads for Iceberg Clothing at the time, dated for a year and even got engaged, but the romance didn’t last. The pair called it quits in 2001. According to ABC News, the actor was initially drawn to the model not only because of his good looks, but also because they shared a love of animals.

“He was such a sweetheart to me and so good to me,” she said of the professional surfer in her documentary. “Kelly and I dated all the time. Between lots of boyfriends and lots of girlfriends for him, too, but it wasn’t just me. He definitely was a heartbreaker. He was a free spirit.”

The actor went on to admit that her time with Slater overlapped with her meeting and days later marrying Tommy Lee in 1995.

“I was dating Kelly Slater at the time and I was supposed to go see him in Florida and meet his family,” she told Metro in 2023. “My first phone call was to him to tell him I was married. He’s like, ‘What?!’ That was horrible.”

Anderson began dating Happy Days alum Scott Baio upon first meeting him in the late 1980s. The relationship even landed the then-budding actor a guest role on Baio’s popular sitcom, Charles in Charge.

The couple were together for three years before splitting in 1993, though Baio later claimed he proposed to Anderson… while in the shower.

“Don’t ever take a shower with a woman, because you’ll probably end up proposing to her,” he said in 2007, per People. “There was a lot of soap, and I was making a speech, but my entire being was going, ‘What are you doing? Shut up!’ But I didn’t stop.”

According to the outlet, Anderson said of the breakup, “Scott’s a great guy. But he’s very practical and logical. I live day by day, and he’s not spontaneous at all.”
