International advisory firm Interpath has appointed Andrew Kenny as a managing director and head of tax within its Irish business.

Kenny joins from FOCUS Capital Partners, where he also served as head of tax, and he will be tasked with leading and expanding Interpath’s tax offering in Ireland, working closely with the advisory and restructuring teams.

Kieran Wallace, managing director and head of Interpath Ireland, said: “A warm welcome to Andrew – his experience and leadership will be a fantastic addition as we continue to grow our Advisory business in Ireland.”

“His appointment further strengthens our ability to deliver integrated advice to both domestic and international businesses navigating increasingly complex transactions and tax requirements.”

Interpath launched its tax practice in 2024 with the appointment of Denis Herlihy, former managing partner at BDO Limerick, who was joined by director Yvonne Diamond late last year.

Kenny began his career with Grant Thornton in its capital tax team and ByrneWallace and later became a partner with Warren & Partners.

Commenting on his appointment, Kenny said: “Demand for high-quality tax advice in Ireland continues to gather pace, particularly among private corporates who have been underserved by traditional models.
