But here’s the kicker—when both partners share the spotlight, the red carpet becomes their playground and the after-party their stage. Take Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro, who recently turned heads at the New York City premiere of “One Night Only,” starring Monica herself. Andrew rocked the supportive boyfriend role flawlessly but also kept his own cool vibe going with a sleek teal suit and crisp white sneakers. They’re nailing it. Curiosity piqued? LEARN MORE
When it comes to dating an actor, part of the territory involves supporting them at their latest premieres, so it works out well when the other person in the relationship is also, well, an actor.
On Monday evening in New York City, Andrew Garfield was playing the part of a good boyfriend when he attended the premiere of the upcoming rom-com One Night Only at SVA Theater, which stars his current girlfriend, Monica Barbaro.
Garfield let Barbaro have her solo moment on the red carpet, but he was later seen walking with her, hand-in-hand, as they attended the after-party held at the Crane Club in Chelsea. For the occasion, both stars went for understated cocktail ensembles.
Barbaro wore a skin-tight, inky minidress from the Alessandra Rich Fall/Winter 2026 collection, styled by Elizabeth Saltzman. The dress appeared to be made out of tweed, and it was defined by its wide scoop neckline that morphed into skinny shoulder straps, as well as its scalloped bottom hem. For a coquettish touch, the skirt and the straps were both decorated with silky black bows that blended into the material.
For a monochromatic finish, she accessorized the look with pointy black heels, while carrying a matching clutch from Aureum. Finally, she winked to the adornments on her dress by wearing a pair of diamond bow-shaped diamond earrings from Briony Raymond.
As for Garfield, he wore a custom double-breasted suit in teal from Casely-Hayford, with the blazer left open to reveal a forest green crewneck T-shirt underneath, also courtesy of the London-based brand. Styled by Warren Alfie Baker, the suit was accessorized with a pair of white platform sneakers from Adidas.
Since the two were first linked in the spring of 2025, Barbaro and Garfield have only made a few public outings together, but they always do so in glamorous fashion, whether it’s at the Oscars after-party or in their matching Wimbledon whites. Clearly, they haven’t lost their touch.
