As Céline Dion returns to the public eye, she’s wasting no time in pulling out chic look after chic look.
On September 12, the Queen of Power Ballads began her new residency at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, France, where she will perform for the next four weeks before returning for an additional series of shows in May 2027.
In the days leading up to her long-awaited return to the stage, Dion was seen in Paris sporting head-to-toe Alaïa and shearling-trimmed Loewe. Then, when she performed her first show, she did so in a stream of designer looks from the likes of Dior, Schiaparelli, Givenchy, and more.
And, as evidenced by her latest outing in the City of Light, her work is not done. Earlier this afternoon, Dion was seen exiting Le Royal Monceau hotel—hours before she is set to take the stage again—looking incredibly posh in layers of smart jackets.
For her base, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer chose a double-breasted black blazer with matching straight-leg slacks. She wore nothing underneath the suit jacket, and she left one button undone for a split-hem effect. To match the pantsuit, she added a few inky accessories, including a Peggy clutch from the Row, round sunglasses from Givenchy, and a pair of pointy black pumps that peeped out from under her pant legs.
But one jacket simply wasn’t enough for Dion. Over her suit, the Grammy winner layered a double-breasted, gray pinstripe overcoat, which she left open, draping it casually over her shoulders for a very elegant, very French touch. Finally, she popped on a pair of oversize, reflective orb earrings.
This new residency marks Dion’s first shows since she took the stage at the Paris Olympics in 2024. Prior to that, she had to cancel her Courage World Tour (2019–2020) due to health issues, which turned out to be a result of stiff-person syndrome, which she was diagnosed with in 2022.
Now, Dion is making the most of her comeback—and what a fabulous one it is.
