There’s hot pink, there’s pale pink, and then there’s that rich, cheerful, carton shade of bubblegum pink that just draws you straight in. And tonight, that’s the color Hailey Bieber went with for the 2026 Academy Museum Gala.
Showing up to the Los Angeles event, the Rhode founder was photographed wearing a custom Chanel dress in the candy-colored hue. A custom creation by Matthieu Blazy, the maxi number featured a fitted column silhouette with a long, floor-grazing skirt and embroidered halter-top neckline.
Bieber’s rosy blush was the perfect color match to her gown, and she left her freshly-dyed brown hair down for the night. She kept her jewelry and accessories minimal, letting the pink piece command all the attention.
The Academy Museum Gala was founded to celebrate the work of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and help fund its mission to preserve film history for generations and generations. Honoring filmmaker and composer John Carpenter with the Luminary Award, two-time Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo with the Vantage Award, and Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron with the Icon Award, this year’s edition concluded with a performance from Taylor Swift (who wore a baby-blue Dior gown by Jonathan Anderson, hinting at that wedding dress we’ve yet to see).
Inside, Bieber was joined by Kendall Jenner in custom Valentino, Sarah Paulson in golden Ferragamo, Theron in Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann, Odessa A’zion in archival Giorgio Armani, and Pamela Anderson in straight-off-the-runway Carolina Herrera. Whitney Peak and Jenna Ortega also went the new-collection route, picking out Spring/Summer 2027 looks from Lii and Roberto Cavalli, respectively.
