Pregnancy is certainly not going to keep Anne Hathaway from taking part in the New York Fashion Week festivities. Last night, one of the starriest events on the calendar wasn’t a show or a presentation, but the unveiling of a new Moncler flagship on Fifth Avenue; and everyone from Julia Roberts to Cher and Jessica Chastain came out to see the brand-new space.

Hathaway—who has spent the past few months promoting a slew of new projects, including The Devil Wears Prada 2, Mother Mary, The Odyssey, and The End of Oak Street—somehow found time in her busy schedule to stop by the store opening, where she gave the denim-on-denim look the maternity-style treatment.

If you’ve seen Brokeback Mountain, then you know that Hathaway can certainly pull off a Western look, and here, she did so with a few staples from the host brand.

She started with a long-sleeve denim shirt, which featured pockets decorating the front and opal-hued little buttons throughout. She rolled the sleeves up to try to beat the late-summer heat, and she left the bottom few buttons undone for a split-hem effect, revealing her growing baby bump underneath. (Hathaway announced that she was pregnant with her third child this past June.)

Down low, the Oscar winner paired her cowgirl shirt with matching loose-fit jeans, which she rolled up at the ankles. The actor completed her look with a set of black fisherman sandals, a silver choker, and a wristwatch. Her husband, Adam Shulman, looked like a cowboy himself in his neutral-toned fit with a black bandana tied around his neck.

It can be hard to make a statement during NYFW, but then again, most people aren’t walking the red carpet for two.
